Jamaica does street food better than just about anywhere in the world… although we usually don’t call it street food. That’s where you find it though and it doesn’t taste better anywhere else.
Jerk (either chicken or pork) might be the most famous, but the list is endless. Janga, fish (steamed, stewed, fried, or roasted), lobster, corn, breadfruit, about 57 different types of soup, ackee & saltfish, curry goat, stewed chicken, endless fresh fruit and the illustrious coconut. Whatever flavor you seek, chances are you’ll be able to find it around the corner and over the bridge!
